  1. OWNER - I own a Hatteras Yacht
Hatteras Model
58' MOTOR YACHT-Series II (1985 - 1987)
Where should I start. I have flow scans at main helm working OK. Does the mechanical tach pass thru the flow scans to fly bridge Or do they work independent of flow scans? I have no reading on port Tach on Fly Bridge. Where should I start.

Assuming electronic tachs on bridge. Etna Tachs?
Tach is dead or does not display RPM?
First, check DCv at the suspect tach. Got power, then jump between the bridge tachs to ensure the suspect tach is good.
Good tach, wire chasing time.

Any work done on boat before failure.

Pending who installed it, your tachs may be daisy chained from the lower station to the bridge, or two leads from the motor OR common terminal strip somewhere.
Factory prints may help here.

Thanks, I'm on the hunt.

Indiana ??
Why are all the good bugs so far aweigh???
