DC Volt Meter repair or replacement.

Hi, does anyone have a source for dc volt meter part # 24225? It is 10-18 volts. Sams referred me to Hoyt meter, but after a conversation, I don't believe they will be able to match exactly the Hatteras meter. Thank you for helping me out... I hope I was able to attach the pic.

Mine only works when the charger is on.

I e seen one on EBay. Hopefully it’s still there. Mine works with charger on or off.

Just looked on EBay and it’s gone. There is a 53’ YF in my area that is destined for the scrap yard and being cut up. If it gets that far, I’ll grab that gauge, I’ll let you know.

I repaired mine by replacing the resister inside. easy job. good luck

All of these gauges on the boat can be fixed by a gauge shop, Lauderdale Speedometer comes to mind. This stuff was built to be repairable back then.

Hi Big papa, sorry I can not remember what resister I used. I just opened up the gauge, remover the resister and found one in a box of old resisters I had at work. It is a very common one so you should have no difficulty getting a new one.
And as someone previously stated, any electronic repair place will be able to help you.
