I have an original unit. There is a copper line with what I assume is a thermometer at the end. This hangs down from the 3 knob controller. The tip of it broke off and now the unit won't blow cold. Anyone know of a fix or source of replacement? I'm hoping I don't need to replace the controller...

As a temporary solution you can jump tha back of the thermostat controller so that it will cool when the unit is on it’s not hard to figure out if you have a voltage tester
