Well we talked about this a few months ago. A little dribble down the weep hole on the port main coolant pump. I painted it over a couple times and in each case and after few hours it was back. So I just replaced it.

My question is....the stb main coolant pump seems to be fine. In other words no dribble. I've been told these pumps hardly ever go bad and I'm inlcined to leave this one until I see some dribble. But then again, both engines ar 89s, same service hours, same mait schedule....Do I pre-empt it? What has your experiences been?

And oh yeah....it was a major PITA and the stb side will be worse. Thanks.

I would leave it alone, If it ain't' broke don't fix it! Like you said they hardly ever go bad just monitor the old one. I have 892's also and have learned not to chase down every little issue.
