  1. OWNER - I own a Hatteras Yacht
Hatteras Model
61' COCKPIT MY (1981 - 1985)
The A/C vents in the master stateroom are recently getting very wet on both sides. I can not figure
out where the moisture is coming from. The ducting is correct and is well insulated, and the amount of humidity is constant so no change there.
Any ideas?

Low Air flow. Check filter. Also may need to clean the coil as they will get blocked up over time.

Feel how much air comes out the vent first so you know if you made an improvement. Also see what the temp is coming out. Probably low due to airflow restriction. When fixed airflow should go up, temp should go up a few degrees, and condensation will go away.

Check all this before looking at mechanical issues.

If you have the rotary fan speed knobs on thermostat you could turn that up. Another thing to check, if return air for that unit is through closet, you may put something against the register inside closet that is restricting airflow.

The fan speed is on high, and the evaporators are clean so good suggestions but doesn't seem to be the problem.

Does airflow seem good? If so is it really cold air coming out?

Air is cold and at the right temp on output side

Low Freon

That's what I am thinking. Found many frozen compressors and lines that never shut down on safeties.

OP, time for an AC guy. Check all while you are at it.
