For those of you not on the Chesapeake Bay, scary, but fortunately no injuries from a powerboat - sailboat collision on Friday. I'm very impressed with the strength of the J-105's hull (the sailboat)

It amazing no one was hurt. Speculation is another autopilot on and no one looking forward.

That's kind of the feeling locally, where it occurred, plus possibly alcohol involved as well, but no new information has been put out. USCG is investigating. We're all glad no one was hurt or killed.

Could be a snitty bloboater that decided to tack right in front of a power boat as well. Been there done that flipped them off vigorously and loudly.
In spite of that the power boater did not leave adequate room IMHO.
