"Of all the things I have lost, I miss my mind the most" I cannot for the life of me remember how to change the bulbs in these overhead cockpit soffit light on my 47 Cabo. Please help. I thought that you just pull them down and the springy clips above unfold and let them drop down but I am really cranking on these things and barely get any gap.

Not sure, put some pressure on it with the palm of your hand and turn counterclockwise?

Agree. I think they will turn about 1/8-1/4 counterclockwise then come right off. You might have to use up pressure with your hand to get them to turn.

Turns out that you do pull the entire assembly down but the spring loaded arms are really strong. You have to find a spot near the spring/arm and start there.

The key is that if the assembly wiggles around in the hole and can be twisted around, it probably has spring clips and needs the entire assembly firmly pulled down. If the assembly is firmly attached then its probably a quarter turn CC as my hardtop lights are.
