Hatteras Model
43' DOUBLE CABIN (1970 - 1984)
Been unable to get our shower stalls 'clean' for some time now.... Am sure it's because at our marina they had well water.... Even though I had 3 BIG water filters (two with charcoal filters) the water still smelled and tasted bad...
They changed to city water about 6 months ago (hey, even put in WIFI) but the admiral has tried 'everything'.... So what have you used???
She now is off to find "Ka Boom"...(If she can find it)

Is this mold, or do they just smell bad?

The best thing for mold is making a paste of household bleach and baking soda, trowel it on, and cover it with plastic wrap. Go away and come back in about two hours. Wash it off. You're done. Mold is gone.

It's a 'stain'.. like hard water gives.... She has it mostly clean, but it's fighting her the entire way

C.L.R. , that's what its made for.

I believe most those were gelcoat and nor acrylic finish making them harder to clean after many years of use and the harsher the cleaner the more finish will fade.

x2 on the clr.
