Chesapeake Rendezvous this year?

Anyone have any thoughts on putting together another rendezvous in the Chesapeake area again this year? Solomon's was a nice event last summer.

After a week of 70/80 degree weather (and the boat being splashed in a couple of days), the family is getting the "itch" to schedule a few summer trips.

The LRC club is planning a get together the middle of September in Baltimore, just as an FYI.

Let's get a sticky started and get something on the calendar!

I'd be interested, maybe the boat will still be running ;>) I also belong to the MTOA and am committed to their rendezvous in Cambridge, MD September 20-25. So for me, earlier in the upper bay or later in the lower bay would be best. I plan to head south after a trip up the Potomac following the MTOA rendezvous.

The Hatteras 1510 Club is having its annual rendezous the same time as every year. The weekend after Labor Day. It will be in Solomons this year as well.

Cambridge YC or the Cambridge City Marina might also make good choices. I'll be at the latter for the MTOA rendezvous September 20-26. I could easily arrive a few daysw earlier.

We (Monica & I) enjoyed meeting all the wonderful folks from the Chesapeake area last year when we drove in to Solomons Island with Bob K and Gayle. If it happens again this year, we will try to mooch a ride with Bob & Gayle on their 48 MY this time. Hope it works out.....

Everyone is Welcome and Encouraged to attend the Hatteras 1510 Club Rendezvous at Calvert Marina in Solomon's, MD. Many attendees don't own a boat or have a model other than a 1510.
