Cellular alarm panel??

Is anyone familiar with alarm systems that use a cellular dialer? Cobra systems makes a unit that would be about 800.00 with high water and smoke components. I am trying to see if I could get by on the cheap. What I had in mind was a home type panel with a cellular dialer. Have a float swich and a smoke wired to the panel, have the dialer call my cell. I would have the number saved on my cell (i would get no data just a call) and If I got a call I would know to start freaking out. I have a good panel I just dont know what cellular component to get and where to attach it...Any thoughts? (other than dont be a tight a$$) lol

Get something like the Dock 'N Talk, and hook it up to one of the many systems from Sensaphone. A buddy had this on his LRC and it worked great.
