Maybe we could talk the administrators into giving us another category.

I was sitting there looking a Freebirds offer (slaes pitch). And thought why not let everyone have a business listing. Guidlines like 50-100 posts etc. Non-competitive to Sams etc.

I know when I need a safe I'll get it from old Randy/spxrky/freebird/etc.

It could be beneficial in these times for all of us to stick together.

C'mon admins please make this happen.

I agree but American made products should get more posts than foreign ones.

How about an area where members of a certain level can post links to their businesses or maybe even a $20 charge for a link?

I hope I didn't cross any line by publicly offering my services to HOF members. Maybe Chris's endorsement went to my head. Unless Sam's has gone into the safe business, there shouldn't be any conflict of interest.

No doubt most of us can use all the help we can get these days to save and/or make a buck or two. I would certainly utlize the services Sam's and HOF members had to offer assuming they were anywhere near competitive. After all, what are friends for?

So Gary, how large a safe do you need? :D
 
I'd be interested in that as well, especially since mine is boat related.
 
Let me give it some thought. We are already in the process of redoing the look and feel of the site which I hope everyone will like. It is in testing right now. One of the new features will be tasteful banner advertising that we will charge for to help support the site. I suppose we could add another area where members could pay a very small fee to have us advertise their business and provide a link to their web site. Links to safe sites would cost extra of course...
 
Doug, that would be great. I'm in favor of charging most of the admin. fees to safe advertizing only. LOL

The other forum is OK but he has his version of himself there named Adamt.

I meant that YOU must have forgotten that you have your own forum for your own personal entertainment because you are spending so much time on here with the one-liners again!

What happened Randy? Your forum just not enough for you any more? Your forum must be feeling pretty neglected these days considering all the HOF-bashing that you have done over there, yet you're all comfy back in your old HOF sandbox. Hmmm, I guess we're not so bad after all! haha

I'm not mad about anything! I was one of the many who welcomed you back with open arms (on HOF and in person @ FLIBS) and helped to rally everyone behind you AGAIN to fix your engine.

I'd love to see you copy and paste this alleged "HOF bashing" that I've done "over there". I'm sure other members of this forum would like to see it as well.

C'mon now Randy, do you actually deny that you have made fun of HOF on many occasions?

Why is it that with your "poke fun and throw jabs" style of relating to people on internet forums is somehow not well received when it comes back to you? Why get so defensive? Don't throw rocks if you live in a glass house my friend.

I'm sure Doug is well aware of your "good intentions" sneaking back here under someone else's username and password. Denying it for a while didn't help your case much here bud. Like you so often profess, you were not banned, so why steal someone else's identity? Bring old Freebird back!
