where is the mast? Do you have an arch? Attennas? If you have an arch w/ radar/sat dish/ approx 24.5 with antennas down

No arch, just mast in front of the the FB.....looking for this height....from mast top...thanks, ed

Hi All,

FWIW the 1974 spec for a 53 MY lists the bridge clearance as 17'2" from the waterline with the mast up!

A lot may have changed since she left the factory. The only way to know what you really need is to measure it yourself.

Trust but verify. My boat's previous owner had specs on everything including the height. However, it seemed higher based on looking at my previous boat and after measuring, it was 1.5' higher than the specs due to changes over the years, especially on the radar mount. It can ruin your day when you have marginal bridge clearance and a high tide.
