Who makes the breakers that are in our Hatteras electrical pannels? as best as I can tell they are Carling E-Series. is that correct? Thanks.

I've got an Airpax GFI breaker that went bad. I've since replaced it, but would like to get the old one rebuilt. I've talked to Ward's Electrical in Lauderdale and they cannot rebuild. Turns out Airpax was purchased by a conglomerate and quit making these nifty breakers in the mid '80's or so. No info on Airpax remains...especially not replacement parts. Sam's had a few replacements "new old ones" (might still have one or two around), but they don't know of anyone that can rebuild. Anyone know of a place to ask about rebuilding the Airpax GFI breakers?

just put in a regular breaker and pull the wire back that where on the breaker and connect them to a gfci recpt. then back to the breaker(black wire) netural bus bar (white wire) and ground bus bar (green wire) this is lees expensive and works just as well.

SAMS has the original style breakers. I bought several from them.
