USPS Insurance Announcement
if anyone has the april issue of the "the ensign" (usps publication) read page 5.
in summary:
the underwriter for boat us insurance, St. Paul insurance Co., has mandated the following changes.
1- all boats more than 10 years of age in the coastal and adjacent counties of alabama, florida, georgia, louisiana, mississippi and texas will be nonrenewed. the nonrenewal policy will begin apprx march 1, 2006.
2- no new business will be quoted in either north carolina, south carolina in addition to the previously mentioned states for boats more than 30 feet or having a hull value > $100.000.
