Boat Leveler

My Boat Leveler stb tab was leaking at the hose connection on the outside of the boat at the tab. After checking out other posts I think I am squared away but now the resevoir needs filling. Do I have to use a proprietary product to fill it or will any steering fluid do the job ? Thanks,

It's not hard to find the actual Boat Leveler brand of fluid.

Search locally or contact Boat Levelers themselves, the fluid even comes with a funnel. Also, their fluid is bio-degradable. An ATF leak will leave a sheen or emulsion, as the placard says.
