I have done my due diligence and gathered info from this site (Love it BTW, great info!) on block heaters and purchased some KIM Hotstart block immersion heaters Model DDV-151Bs for my 8v92TIs on my 58 MY.
I cant for the life of me figure out where they go! The instruction say, and I quote "Detroit Diesel V71 and V92 Series: Replaces four bolt water jacket access plate at front of cylinder bank on left side of engine. HUH?
Any of you use these heaters on your 71s or 92s? Any help would be apreciated, I am hellbent on getting these installed this weekend.
