Bittersweet day

Well folks, it's official the Knotty Maid has a new home. After our sea trial on Thursday I went home had a few drinks and tried to talk Tod into keeps the old gal and selling the house but to no avail. I am really going to miss her but not the slip payment, insurance woes, maintenance.......maybe I won't miss her that much after all. I wish the new owner calm seas and lots of fish as she moves to her new home in Mississippi. Thanks to all for the friendship and technical support offered. Don't worry I'm sure Tod will stick around to put his 2 cents in here and there.

The old saying about a boaters 2 happiest days is bunk.

It was sad day when Passages sold, even though it was the right thing to do.

I still miss the old gal.

An Admiral telling her hubby to keep the boat and sell the house.... And he doesn't listen !!!!

My admiral told me in 2000 to sell the house and buy a boat.... And we are still full time liveaboards....
