Beware of Cordmaster LLC!

Just a head up all:

I recently ordered a High tide 50A 50' power cord from Cord master LLC. After the order the website went down, the number was out of service and emails were not returned. I finally got an email stating the following:

Mr. XXXXXX I am sorry I had no idea these things even sold until an ex-girlfriend's kid I had made a dormant replacement store for our real store that was better made internally but looked so cartoony YEARS AGO I never activated it. But apparently, he did fire it up recently with my name and CC and a different PP account of course like an idiot I use all the same passwords. the punk got 66 away before I happened to catch him cause I saw a jump in my CC expense. And when I did he somehow again but pretended he was me and put that PayPal account in his name and just put the original specs back in the store. Hence a 3-year-old email and my PP. Pretty intricate...... but the dummy put his address at the bottom. When the shipping moron getting a commission to watch the store would have shipped 300 away. so apparently I have a dumber staff. So I missed about 7 that went to an old email.....

Sounds like a guy that got screwed from the inside making good on your order. I personally wouldn't take the free cord set but maybe free shipping

I am in PayPal dispute terrain now. I called Pete and he basically told me that he "wasn't worried about it" and to call back in 4-5 days because he was with his kids.

Does anyone have a legitimate source for High Tide cords? It looks like the other online places may be associated with this outfit (all in Cleveland OH and related to Electric Cord Set LLC) so I am very weary of dealing with them.

I think paying more for a Hubble or Marinco cord may make a lot of sense now after dealing with this situation.

Last year. Had to replace the male plug this year. The prongs are a bit flimsy. Services fro Bay Marine was excellent.

Also, I am VERY surprised but the other transaction was refunded.
