I’m looking for some info on battery chargers. I’ve got 2 regular wet 8D’s in the boat so I only need a unit with 2 outputs. I’ve already gone through 2 Xantrix Truecharge 40’s so I don’t want another one of those. My big question is, do I really need something that puts out 40 amps? Seems like a lot. I don’t need any bells and whistles. Just want something cheap, reliable that I can install and forget about. Thanks.
