That is a picture of "Old Hat" as she sits in Sarnia Canada. We spent eight days on her last week and this week. She ran great! It will all most scare ya when the 6-53's fire up. I have it figured that when the engines first fire there is a split second before the water begins to muffle the exhaust of the engine. And during that second the engines have a distinctive rapping/pop, I love it. Kinda like a Harley, the DD 318's have there own distinctive sound!
I do need to ask if there is anyone online that might have a Detroit 53 series service or repair manual that they might want to sell.

The shipper is suppose to pick her up in Port Huron Mi. the week of August 1st I am going to have her off loaded in Gautier Ms. After I get the flybridge refastened I will bring her to Madisonville on the north shore of Lake Pontchartrain. I hope to have her ready to make a trip down to the mouth of the river this winter. I would love to talk to you about some places to go. I also have a 34 Convertible in Madinsonville that is in great condition that I need to sell if any of your buddys are looking. I do not need two boats. I have included a picture of her and can supply more info if needed.
