Just uploaded a bunch of photos of my back deck, more to come. After 6 months(yes I have a day job) of grinding fiberglass and fabricating I'll be putting the final gellcoat on tomorro, I'll post pics of the finished job when done, interested to hear coments from others who have crossed this threshold in their lives and are not crippled with back and knee pain.

Well good for you. I know it's a long hard battle, but the end results will be wonderful. My neighbor completely replaced his entire deck on his 44 Trojan. It took him an entire year. All of his coring was bad. I know your going to love your new deck. Lets see those pictures of your hard work.

Where are the pictures, Charlie? I would love to see them. BTW, removing the flybridge from "Man Hatt'n" was not as simple as I had hoped, and transporting her turned out to be an education also! Howard in west Michigan

Found the pics! Nice job! Please keep us posted on the progress. Howard

Final gellcoat went on sunday, and I've spent the last few days preping and final coating the hatch covers and engine boxes, pics will go up tonight in my owners gallery. much satisfaction. I've spent the last year not seeing much change, and a lot of hard tedious work, when I bought my boat the deck was allready ripped out, so I had nothing to go on, no plans, no patterns. Everything you see is hand made from scratch. I left the center of the back deck open to be covered with semi permanent hatch covers that will be fastened down and caulked in place. Not being sure what our fuel dilema will bring led me to engineer the possibility of tank removal without having to destroy all my hard work. so far, not one ounce of paint on my boat. all gellcoat.
