  1. OWNER - I own a Hatteras Yacht
Hatteras Model
34' DOUBLE CABIN (1963 - 1966)
Looking for some tech help on cleaning or replacing a air leaking air port on my avon. Can not find any thing on the web related to this problem.Nor will a dealer return my calls.I dont want to go poking and make it worse.Any one have a answer?

I am no expert, but the valves can usually be replaced in place. The port would need to be glued in. I know some people who have had success with DIY repairs, but most do not have good outcomes and need to go to the dealer.

What is the condition of the o-ring on the plug?

If it is cracked or missing, this could be the source of your leak.
