Avoid My Mistake CCTV

I replaced two of the CCTV cameras on the bridge of my boat because I thought the color looked washed out. Unfortunately, the new cameras I installed today also showed the colors washed out. Well, there must be some sort of filtering screen or something in the strataglass on my bridge that removes most of the color from my CCTV cameras. No problem once I pull up the strataglass with the same cameras. Live and learn.

there usually is a color saturation or color level adjustment in the dvr menu that allows you to adjust the color level much like you would on a TV.THe one I have allows adjustment of each camera separately so you can adjust for things like that and fluorescent lighting .......Pat

I tried adjusting the color gain in the osd of the camera. No joy there.
