Attachment Limitation

Hi All,

Trying to load some jpg images to a new post. Getting an error message that they exceed max size. How can I change the max and if thats out which I'm pretty sure it is any PC guy know how can I reduce the image size.

I've never been able to do anything with the on-site attachment deal for the same reason, size. Can somebody explain to me why there is any benefit in resizing photos and then attaching them through the site as opposed to using photobucket?

It's just faster to attach them directly but, as noted, capacity runs out which makes photobucket more practical. Twice since I've been on this site I had to delete all my images which means some of my old posts which once had pics attached, no longer do. So, yeah, photobucket is better...until they decide one day to close it or whatever.
