I have a buddy looking at a 2007 64' Hatteras sportfish. Does anyone on here have any experience on one of these? Some rumors swirling around that they are not very good in the performance department....Just looking for a heads up.

Thanks in advance,

good boat large interior and large cockpit

I have been on a couple. Very nice boats, great ride. I am not sure what you mean by "performance", but if it is speed, they aren't quite like the light weights out there, I suppose. There was one of the 3 engine 77's in here a few weeks ago... ooh la la!

Gentlemen down here had a 64' (approx 2 yrs ago)and was quite disappointed. I heard performance and wetness were major issues. Roger probably knows about suit/settlement, end result being he ended up with a 60Viking Sportfish.

Hatteras has corrected that problem and went out in the field and done a field fix. the one thing you can always depend on is that Hatteras stands behind there boats.

Hey Roger, any more details on what they did? Thanks guys, for the responses...
