Having several books on anchoring, I took a look through them and there was actually a test of an anchor identical to yours. It seems to be a name or brand 'salle'. Just out of curiosity I looked online and couldn't find anything with that name or shape. It also didn't show up anywhere else in my books again in either pictures or text. FOB and Brittany which clearly are popular in Europe have a similar type but without the very full section where the stock would be on a fortress or danforth. I don't think you're buying anything special. There have been several experimental anchors marketed as the new best anchor over the years. They come and go. Look at the pics I posted. Clearly this salle anchor finished worst of all. Not surprisingly the cqr and the European version of the fortress came out on top.
