Any Interest in a 1990 Hoist?

I cannot get confortable using the 600# Nautical Structures Hoist on the roof of my 53. The winch squawks alot and should be replaced, but instead I'm thinking of just removing it. Might do this as early as the last week of August. Unit is 110V and supported with a post down to the ED back deck.
It it has a chance of a second life give me a call .. 248-672-0512

FWIW, I have seen this davit for myself and it is a nice unit. It is the low profile style and it is painted Hatt off-white. I have the exact same one on my boat except that mine is a few years newer.

Hoist has found a new home. Both hoist and post was picked up yesterday.
Thanks to all that were interested.
If I did this right, pic of replacement that we had installed week after Labor Day is included.
