What kind of 110V pumps are people using for their anchor washdown systems? I can accommodate up to 1/2 H.P.
Thank you
Will

Fresh or salt water? Why 110? I don't know how long they would last for saltwater, but you could buy several Sears shallow well pumps for the price of Groco marine pump. The pump end of the Sears is pretty much non metallic or stainless. If you want to stay with marine grade, you may want to call Depco in Clearwater and see what they recommend.

Me, I have a 24v Sureflo Extreme Blaster raw water pump that has worked great for 2+ years and has got a LOT of use. .

Good questions,
Salt water and I prefer 110v because the pump area is already wired for it.
Thanks - Will

I pulled a big 120v pump out of my boat that looks like an irrigation pump and replaced it with a Groco 32v washdown pump. The pump is still sitting in my basement. It's big and heavy and I didn't like where it was mounted. If you're interested in it, let me know. I sure don't need to have it sitting here in my way.

I have a shallow well pump wired to 220 VAC (most AC well pumps can be wired for 120 or 220). It's installed below the water line so there is never a priming issue. it delivers a generous stream at 40 PSI for the anchor wash down detail.
