Anchor Locker

I notice that in my anchor locker the chain is rubbing against the bow fiberglass. I can see some wear, nothing terrible, but got me thinking. Any ideas for how to protect the fiberglass from the wear of launching and retrieving the chain.

This may be a duplication, but what about a couple of thin pieces of starboard gusseted together to make a liner of sorts?
