AMF emblem

Does anyone know if the AMF emblem just below the hatteras badge on the side of my 1978 37C boat should be the color of the boat or painted red ? I had a guy ask me why AMF was not red.
Oh well should AMF be red or painted to match the boat as mine is ?

Mine are the color of the boat. And you can't get them anymore.

AMF screwed up so many companys I wouldnt want it on my boat ot Harley.
