Alternator Aid

It seems that my port/house alternator has given up again. Does anybody have a good recommendation for a replacement on 8v71t's? I need high amperage as this engine is charging house bank for Outback inverter.

Call Brighouse Auto Electric in Richmond..Leece Neville has high output 150 Amp..about $800.00, double belt unit, I have 2..good stuff...

You may have to slightly modify you engine mounting bracket, not difficult to do, I think you just may need a spacer piece...
