Hi Everyone, I went to contract on a 1988 38 convertible today. after talking to some local industry people, found out on a boat I was looking at, the starboard motor was new, top end had been done on port, generator replaced, and sanitation system upgraded as others.

Working on scheduling survey and sea trial now, and hoping all goes smooth.

Finally closed on this boat yesterday, now the period owner of a 38c

Welcome and congratulations on your new endeavor. Caretaker says it well enough. This forum has a ton of info that will help you out. There are no dumb questions. I knew very little about these bigger boats, but after tons of dumb questions I was able to bring my boat home with the help of this forum with only a few minor delays. Thanks guys for all your help.

I have found out that I'm never done, Just as I get one project completed one or two pop up. The good thing is they get smaller & smaller.

I'm under the illusion I'm almost done ? hahaha..... Never , Never , Never done.
