As we approach Memorial Day, remember the reason for the Holiday. Like many Veterans, this time of year, I give thanks that I'm here, and remember those that are not. We served, others sacrificed.

Hi All,

In memory of my father. 1928-2008. 20 years in the USN Seabees. Enlisted in 1942 at the age of 16 1/2.

Loved and believed in this country.

Served in the Philippines, Guam, Midway and many other places.

Could fix anything with duct tape.

Always said if they had duct tape on the Titanic she would never had sunk.

My thanks and gratitude to all have served.
