Air Horn 12v Solenoid

Does anyone know the recommended fuse size for a 12 volt regulator solenoid?

I doubt you'll get much of an answer with such sparse information.

Try a 10 amp fuse for a while and if it works, reduce to a 7.5 amp.....it's not big deal.

If you want the correct answer, check the power draw specifications of your air horn ......or use an ammeter to measure the current draw when its activated...

If you are asking about the primary of a solenoid control for an air horn, start with two amp fuse or so on the primary and adjust as necessary...

They are air horns, not electric, the fuse is for the air regulator solenoid. The original air solenoid had a plastic casing and it actually melted so I want to add an inline fuse to the new installation.
