Starting on a post storm project. The sliding windows on the aft deck of my 43DCMY had a couple of cracked windows and some rot in the wood frames.
Well, a strong gust from Ian removed 2 of them from the port side.
So, I am rebuilding from scratch.
I decided to make new sliders out of aluminum channel. Sams only had the 3 channel material that is used in the salon sliders. So, first step was to build up a square opening for the new frames.With the first 2 pieces in place I can see how it’s going to look.
Lots more work to do !!
