Is it leaking at/near the sink itself? Is it actually the hose that is leaking or a fitting? Originally that line, as all water lines on the boat, would have been copper tubing. If it's hose, then somebody replaced it, most likely because they installed something new or removed something that was originally there, like the oem water filter.

I have to admit that I don't know the actual routing of that water line though if I had to guess, I'd say it probably runs above the headliner in the master or guest stateroom and then up through the aft deck floor. It could run inside/along the base of the paneling in the salon but that seems very unlikely to me based on the way most water lines are run on the boat because it would have to turn the corners at the walls. But this is just guessing on my part.

On the 58 it ran through the starboard wall studs from the water filter in the cavity forward of the entertainment center. And yes, it was copper.

Also, there was a "T" in the starboard engine room that sends the supply line up to the salon. I don't recall if I had both hot and cold lines or not.

Mine is run up from the area of just aft of the master stateroom's head. There is a chase in the master stateroom on mine where the AC condensation hose, and the aft deck bar sink's drain runs back down. My water supply is in there - it's tee'd off behind the exhaust tube. All copper. So, I guess the answer to your questions is not clear as it appears they did these differently even on the same models.

on my 58 yf the line runs from the sink under the headliner in the master closet, across the hallway leading to the master, then under the headliner in the master head. not sure where it comes down to T into the water supply, i only had the headliner down in the master, not the master head. hope this helps.

Thanks all...now have an idea.....so, another great old boat challenge lol
