Anyone done it? Parts pieces? Pictures?

Thank you.

(Yes, I am also chatting with boatsb......)

Had a 12V on my port 1271. Took it off when I discovered it wasn't putting out. Found it unnecessary for me. But here are the mountings.

Oscar, I have one on my stb engine. Came with the boat. I'll see if I can remember to take pictures tonight when I'm on board. It's in a kinda inconvenient place but not awful.

Alternator.webpFound a pic. it is just inside the forward door to the stb engine room. you are looking down in this picture. It is at the bottom of the pic, kinda dark unfortunately. This pic was from the broker. View attachment Alternator.pdf

Thank you both......

Have it rebuilt. The shop that did mine painted them and they look new.

If you remove both, label them port and starboard as I think they turn in different directions.

Hes looking to add a 24 volt for an inverter bank.

No big deal to bring the extra charge ability.
