Hatteras Model
58' MOTOR YACHT-Series I (1977 - 1980)
I know this is an absolute long shot but wondering if anyone has the raised acrylic cover for the gauge section of a 58 Motor yacht flybridge. Someone inadvertently stepped on mine when replacing all the isinglass After the Storm.

I thought that Sam's still had them. I will try and look them up while the Giants/Cubs game is on. Go Giants.

Can you measure the one you have? I have some extras, or did, which might or might not fit. If you can post the dimensions of yours, I'll try and find them and see if they are the same. I think I still have them.

I found them under "covers" on Sam's catalog. They are pricey.

They can be easily made at a glass/plastic fab shop but supporting the forum is good too.

Define pricey?

Sometimes one person thinks it's pricey while others think it's reasonable.

By the way the cost of stocking and selling these parts is not cheap.

116.00 and 275.00. PLASTIC

Thanks Jim, it will be a day or two before I'm at the boat again, Inwill get some pics and dimensions then.
Thanks again!

One of them is $116.00 the other is $275.00. Plastic is heated then pressed over the mold. Takes about 3 seconds. Just saying it's pricey for plastic. If that's not pricey for some so be it.

So make the mold, build the covers and sell them for $25 each. Easy as pie right?

File photo from my personal archives....Is this what you're looking for?

You are one of the good contributors and members of this forum and I have a great deal of respect for you, so please don't take what I say as anything other than a gentle suggestion:

Please reconsider any comments made openly here that could be seen as negative against SAM'S. This is their forum and without their support it ceases to exist.

Now I understand. It wasn't meant as a negative. I buy tons from Mike and Steve. It was just an observation. Thanks for the heads up.

I'm sorry. My photo was intended for reference purposes only. I do not have that piece currently available for sale.

The picture posted by SeaEric is indeed what I am looking for. If anyone has one please let me know. For reference the two screws closest to the opening are 12 inches apart.

I do not have that piece. The ones I have are for a convertible like mine. Sorry.

I may have that one.

Will be a week before I get back to my shop.

PM me in a week and remind me.

Thanks Dave
