  1. OWNER - I own a Hatteras Yacht
Hatteras Model
58' LRC (1975 - 1981)
Does anyone have a connection on where to find (buy) one? A couple of the on-line resources are sold old. It's apparently 9 manuals. Retails for $450.00. Obviously, I'd like to find a set a little cheaper, if possible!

There are manuals, parts catalogs and diagrams. Which do you need?

Have you spoken to the distributor? I think it's western branch.

I have a contact here in Florida at the distributor and use his parts book. he is better at finding things than I am anyway. I own the service manuals and that's all.

I ask him for something and he faxes the page with it circled for confirmation when I need.

You can get manuals on CD from several suppliers on eBay.

Maybe not what you want, but the Service Manual for the 71 series engines has a lot of pictures and diagrams of parts and systems with an explanation of them, and all the service requirements, torques, etc., enough to service most things. That's available as a set of 2 CDs for under $100. I believe they were US Govt. manuals, now copied onto CD.

I think it was about a year ago that YW emailed me a 71 Parts manual that was distributed by the Navy. Send me your email address and I will forward it on to you. It's formatted in Adobe.

Thanks. PM sent.

To clarify, I need the parts manual for the 4-71 DD, not the V1271's. While I'd love to have those 12's, it'd be a waste of money in LRC!

Thanks again for the assistance!
