6bta Survey

Anyone have a recommendation on someone who could do a survey on a pair of 6bta's in a 31 Tiara in Norfolk VA. Or tips on what to pay attention to.

Make sure that the aftercoolers have been serviced at proper intervals. If they're let go, they're pricey to replace.

These guys http://fullthrottlehampton.com/services/ did engine surveys for one of my customers. They were happy with them.

X2 on the aftercooler servicing. This is REALLY important.

Another outfit who can look at those engines for you: T&S Marine Engines in Crisfield, MD; 410 968 2970, very experienced, absolutely honest, and have sold and serviced many of these engines. Ask for Dave or Timmy.
