It's SOLD, why the ad is still up.... grr.

I spent a fair amount of time aboard her in FLL this past January. I have photos and info in a dropbox file that I can link here if desired. She's a project, but maybe a reasonable deal if you want a 65 and have some resources and talent. One thing I noticed is that this boat does not have the on deck head like most 58' LRCs and 65' LRCs have. This would be a big negative for me. To install it would be a pretty big project.

What does it have in the space where an on-deck head would be located? Agree it would be better with it.

It has a cabinet with a counter top which is across from the galley. It's stupid IMHO.

Here is the photo.

I would build the head back into that space.

I agree. A day head would be a much better use of that space than what's there- a generic cabinet of no particular utility.

There's no evidence that the day head was ever there. It's been suggested to me that it may have been an option, or an option to delete it. To add it now, and have it look correct, would be a fairly
big project.

I'll bet it was an option. Super convenient, but if you have family like mine, they would purposely blow up that head while cooking in the galley. Call it a competition.

Yikes!

Hatteras always put courtesy/vent fans in the heads. The problem is there's a bunch of switches in the heads that are all unlabeled, and unless it's your boat nobody would know what all of them do or that there's even a fan. The stinking up the boat thing went away for me when I made little stickers saying "Vent Fan" "Shower Lights" "Bathroom Lights" etc., and stuck them on the switch plates. If people know it's there, they'll use it. They just didn't know before. If they use the fan there's minimal smell and what little there is dissipates quickly. Before I made the switch labels there were some "dude WTF did you eat????" moments.

At a LRC owner, I would not want one without the day head. I've seen some owners remove them as in this 65 to make a refrigerator/coffee area - but can't imagine having to run downstairs to use the head, especially at night when on watch.

Totally agree with Z on this. I've seen some made into a pantry.
