Not sure about that. The only person I know that could reasonably take this on would be Yachtsman Willy. And he's smart enough not to do it.

I like the wall of bass boat battery chargers and all the creative solutions that were never finished.

$1,000.00 if they deliver it here on its own power. Other than that it's worthless and a shame.

I saw her pop up in my daily report. WOOF!

She definitely has deteriorated over the last few years. The owner still smiles though when he tells you about his travels from the West Coast to Tennessee.

Looks like whoever was working on her has ADHD

This catches my eye as we always wanted a galley up version open to the salon. The fact that it is a LRC is a bonus. The amount of remaining work, and it looks like paint work it needs sounds pretty expensive though. He did get a lot done on it though, newer electronics etc.

What I don't understand is the new bow thruster and 6 new air units and they all need servicing.

Just the kind of project that would make me loose my mind. LOL

What's the deal on the aluminum storm boards? Is that normal? That sounds like they would be a p.i.a. to paint.

We docked in front of that boat in Clarksville Tennessee. Sorry if the owner is on this site but the outside of it looks like a real roach coach. Can only imagine what the inside must look like.

The ask is $100k, what do you all think it would sell for?

"Once bitten, twice shy". But I sure miss The Sub reports. Learned so much...

The green hull 58 LRC "Snap Dragon" in NY sold this Spring for $170,000.

At one time it belonged to my neighbor in NC . He sold it for $765,000 . I think that it was the last one built . These boats are getting old .

I attempted to make contact with the broker, by web contact form and by phone.

I'm guessing this is a case of "I will reluctantly list your boat, but don't expect me to put any effort into selling it"

Of course, I could be wrong and he is just going down the list of all the people inquiring about this boat, and after several days of returning the hundreds of calls he just hasn't gotten to mine yet.

If whoever is the owner is on this forum, find a new broker! Or just list it here, the only nuts willing to take on a project like that are probably already on this forum.

I talked with the Broker Tuesday afternoon. He already has several offers and is getting a tremendous amount of calls about the boat. I think the boat is mechanically sound but has an unbelievable number of open ended projects ongoing.

Pics look decent to me. The important stuff still looks good. It would eat alive one that writes checks as opposed to using his hands, but for the right person it may be a good value. Fresh water is a huge bonus.

As the market is turning, there surely will be plenty of other great deals to be had in the future.

I wish the LRC was a raised pilot house design.

Well, to my surprise, he is in fact going down the list!

So my bad knocking the broker.

Did he happen to mention what kind of offers they got? I'm guessing they wouldn't share that info, but thought I would ask.

I'm sure someone with some cash in there pocket will scoop it up quick, wish it could be me... or do I? LOL

I hope someone resurrects this boat. There aren't that many of them and they require a LOT of care and feeding. But if it's running and floating, it's (I hope) worth saving.

With this as a “project in progress” would a cash buyer be able to get it insured?

A good question. Maybe hull insurance, but not operating insurance, and with the proviso that they'd have to get it surveyed a second time when the owner felt it was ready to roll.
