53 MY Ice Maker/sink on Aft deck. Where is the water shut off valve? Thank You!

I changed out the filter and pulled the icemaker completely out but I do not remember seeing a shut off valve. I do know that I turned off the external water and the water pump and drain the system before I disconnected it. It’s been a few years and I can’t remember.

Mine is a much earlier 53 but I recall the shut off to be somewhere in the port ER. I v eredine all the plumbing now…

On my 1981 53, the water line is in the starboard engine room above the hot water heater. One line goes back to the sink/ice maker and one line goes up to the windshield washer. I had to add shut off valves on my boat.

Originally it was connected above the hotter heater (Starboard side for the 77's). But it didn't always have a shutoff, and many have been re-plumbed over the years.

The line runs from the hot water to the ceiling of the master bathroom, then makes a right turn and go's to the aft sink.

I moved my shutoff to the master sink. Mostly because it was cracked and I could not fit or pull a new line above the showers to the engine room.
