  1. OWNER - I own a Hatteras Yacht
Hatteras Model
48' MOTOR YACHT-Series I (1981 - 1984)
I have a friend looking for a classic 53. Anyone have or know of one that is going to come to market?

Isn't Phil's boat, JACE, a 53 classic, or do I have it wrong? I thought it was, but I haven't seen photos of her in a while.

Looked again. It is a 53- maybe this is the ED model, I don't know, but he sure wants to sell it and it's supposed to be a jewel. I'd contact him.

A friend of mine who has since passed away owned the 1986 53' Motoryacht named Mavourneen that just came back on the market about a week ago. The current owner brought her down from NJ to MD and the boat is showing it's listed in Florida East Coast. I haven't seen the boat in about 6 years, but the one distinguishing feature is the PipeWelders lift (elevator) that remotely gets you from the aft deck up the flybridge. As I said, I haven't seen the boat in 6 years, however, he had kept it in Bristol condition and used the boat regularly for cruising the Northeast.

It can't hurt to take a look.

Maybe the ad should be corrected to list the engines as 6v92TA's @ 475HP.
