  1. OWNER - I own a Hatteras Yacht
Hatteras Model
67' COCKPIT MY (1987 - 1995)
I have a covered slip with 17 feet wide with a height clearance that might have another foot or so above the 17 ft 10 in. height of my 43 DC.

Any chance any version of 53 MY or YF would fit?

How about 48's?

Other 3 stateroom Hatts?

Specs for teh same boat on Yachtworld boats vary so much I think I can only trust an actual owner.

Thanks

It will be a bit tricky with a 15'10" beam boat backing into a 17' wide slip, but you'll be fine. If you buy a 53MY or 58YF with no radar arch or hardtop, maybe just a collapsable bimini and drop your antennas you should fit in your slip like a glove! You'll have to take her in and out of the slip from the lower helm though!

A 53MY or 53YF with no radar arch is 16.5 ft. to the top of the railing around the front flybridge windshield, which is the highest point on a factory standard boat. Just measure above that point for any arches or mods above that level.

However, you don't have enough room to keep her off the pilings or docks when it's in the slip and no room for good fender balls. It'll bang around a lot unless you have one of those piling rider hookups.

A 53 with either a mast or arch will take the vertical clearance well into the 20s. We have a mast and the clearance to the top of the mast is 23 feet - and nearly 30 to the top of the 4 antennas (although they can be easily lowered.)

My slip is 15' 6", and Misty 14' wide. I have a trailer, I mean houseboat, next to me that hangs out over 10'. Take a look at the rollers I use on my web site. I was a customer before becoming their local dealer. Since I am now a dealer, I won't go into detail here at the risk of sounding too "commercial" in my post, but they're great for tight slips. You can PM or email me if you want more info.
