Hatteras Model
52' CONVERTIBLE (1983 - 1990)
Thought you might enjoy seeing how we store a 52' Convertable with full tower in
inside heated storage for the winter. This same boat went through the Erie canal last spring.

How much is winter storage on average? Those are fancy/nice buildings!

Up here we pay about $6 sq ft L x W and that includes the haul, powerwash of the bottom, blocking and relaunch in the spring.

Hmmm. My boat is in that same building. If your boat wasn't there, you could probably see it in the photo. I walked around your boat yesterday and it looks great....

OUCH

If I remember correctly I used to pay $10-11 per linear foot per month for year round dockage. I think your winter storage is more than my years dockage. Id move south so you can use it more.

I'd be happy with that rate. Up here we're around $200 ft for summer and $50-$75ft for winter either in water or outdoor on the hard. in door is hard to find and crazy expensive

Its cheaper here. less democrats to support.

I had a 48 MY that wintered in St.Clair Shores in Michigan. You drove in and they lowered the doors about 4.5' below water level. Inside temp was supposed to be around 65 or so. We lived aboard through the winter. Outside the doors they were ice-fishing and inside, we were working on the teak handrails in shorts!!

That sounds pretty cool.

Imagine sitting on the back deck in December with a mojito while your buddies shovel snow.
