Both of my voltmeters went within months of each other. Sam’s is the only source I was able to find, but apparently there was a production error by their supplier. While the voltage reads correctly when power on, the needle doesn’t move when off.
The only other 50 voltmeters I found were square panel meters. The four pegs used to hold the meter to the panel are easily removed and then the gauge fits into the original hole. I modified and insulated the old gauge bracket and connected it to the negative terminal.
The gauges are on Amazon from $9-14, I paid $20 from an electronics outlet. Sam’s is working on a replacement gauge.
