The 48 Hatteras Motor Yacht (1981) or (1990's model) didn't come with a lower inside station. (I did see one with a custom lower helm installed several years ago, but not since). You will only find that feature "standard" on the 48 Hatteras LRC. You would need to move up to a Hatteras 50 or 53MY for that.

For a "motor yacht" configuration without a cockpit UNDER 50 feet, you will find an "inside" lower station on the Chris Craft/Uniflite 460, the 47 Cheoy Lee, and the 48 Ocean Motor Yacht. If I'm not mistaken, there was also a 48 Californian Motor Yacht model that offered a lower inside station as an option.

Or a Hatteras 48' Yachtfish. (although 5 foot is a cockpit).

This model is pretty much a 3 stateroom motor yacht with a cockpit.

Agree with you Lumina. But the guy said he didn't want a cockpit. He also provided an incomplete e-mail address. Nobody can help him without that.

Actually the Series 1 48 MY (1981 - 1984) did come with an inside lower station. It was a factory option and I have been on several with them including Bob Kassel's 1981 model (Chateau De Mar). I have a 1982 model which does not have a lower station. Not sure about the Series !! but I seem to remember that it also was available with a lower station.....

Ditto Walt. My series I 48MY has a lower station as do many others. Great boat! Don't give up.
