45c rudder shaft packing size?

I can't find the size of shaft packing to use on the rudders. I was hoping a fellow member might know. The water coming in is out of control and I've bottomed out on the adjustment. Has anyone had good luck with graphtex ultra (gtu) packing?

Just did mine it's 1/2 in.

Great thank you. I'm going to pickup some (GTU) graphtex ultra. Unless there is a better suggestion.
