Typically 692s in that boat. Don't think 1271s would fit.

I think the 43 convertible and the 45 convertible are similar except for the size of the aft deck, so it might have 6v92s, which can make 550hp. For a while, anyway.

True, my 43C is identical inside and out to the 2nd generation 45C, except the cockpit is 2 feet shorter. This one was originally powered by 450hp 6V-92's, but a few years ago repowered with 450hp Cummins. I was 23 years with my 42C and loved her like I do my children. I suffered with a Post for a couple years until I found this 43C. This is a much larger and faster boat with an solid 22knot cruise.

True about most boats. I came from a 17knot 42C, 22knots is way fast enough for me!
